Project Description: BAY AREA RAPID TRANSIT (BART) INSTALLATION OF FARE GATES PROJECT: The work includes core drilling and saw cutting through concrete, brick, and terrazzo, and repairing them to access embedded electrical and communications ducts. This will involve extending the exposed ducts, installing new pull boxes and risers for the underfloor ducts, and installing electrical outlets, electrical wire, circuit breakers, and communications cables and circuits for copper, fiber optic networks with associated conduit and testing. The work is located at all BART stations throughout the system. The Engineer’s Estimate for the project is $6 million.
