Swinerton is requesting quotations from certified LBE’s. Participation requirement is 13% micro LBE and 7% small LBE.  Minority-Owned Small Business Enterprise (MBE) participation??goal for this project is 5%, The Woman-Owned Small Business?? Enterprise (WBE) participation goal is 4% and the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and Veteran Owned Business Enterprise (VOSB) participation goal is 5%.

Trades:  All Trades needed. Note all long lead items & the anticipated lead times.
RFIs Due: January 3, 2025, 4 PM.

Project Description:

This project involves renovating an existing public park that is approximately 7 acres on the shore of India Basin along the Southeast waterfront of San Francisco, California. The project involves the construction of two new buildings, a boathouse, and a park restroom facility. The project also involves the construction of in-water components including marine way walls, a pile supported floating dock, and gangway. Other site improvements include, but are not limited to, paving, site walls, irrigation, grading, soils, planting, seating elements, site furnishings, stairs and rails, a new playground, utilities, site lighting, pergola structures, basketball courts, public art components, sidewalk frontage improvements, wayfinding signage, and interpretive signage elements.

·       This is a Public Works project that is federally funded.  Subcontractor must be registered with the CA Department of Industrial Relations before submitting a bid.  Application and renewal are completed online with an annual, non-refundable fee.

·       Compliance with the San Francisco Citywide Project Labor Agreement is required.

·       A Project Labor Agreement is also in-place.

·       Commitments through the project’s Equitable Development Plan

 

We reserve the right to require all subcontractors to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds from a U.S. Treasury-listed surety. Premium cost to be included as a separate item. At our discretion, a bid bond and/or letter of bondability from a U.S. Treasury-listed surety may be required within 48 hours of demand.
