Include ALL completed Bid forms. Swinerton is requesting quotations from All Subcontractors and Certified DBE’s. Trades: Trade Package #1: Steel (Early Damper Procurement Only), Micropiles RFIs Due: February 17, 2025, 4 PM. Project Description: This is a Swinerton project for Bay Area Rapid Transit. This bid is for award. Swinerton Builders and Gensler Architects are teaming up for a Progress Design-Build Tenant Improvement for a new Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Police Department Headquarter facility. The location of the existing building that will be ongoing construction is located at 2000 Broadway Street in Oakland, 94612, California. The scope of work for this project involves demolition of interior member like doors, interior walls, and fixtures along with partial MEPFS removal. Once demolition is complete, construction will consist of seismically upgrading the building, adding micro piles and viscous dampers along with refurbishing the interior space tailoring it to BART PD’s needs. We reserve the right to require all subcontractors to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds from a U.S. Treasury-listed surety. Premium cost to be included as a separate item.
